Korelasi antara Usia Guru dengan Kompetensi Kepribadian di MTs Negeri Babadan Pangkur Ngawi

Teachers are the most important component to improve the quality of national education. Based on the standard of education, a teacher is required to have four basic competencies, namely, pedagogical competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence.

These Four competencies focus on the research problem in personality competence correlated with age. Psychologically, when the age of teachers increases the physical and mental state of decline teachers. Competence own personality is closely associated with age, which has elements include personality steady and stable, mature, wise and thoughtful, dignified, noble, and a role model for students.

The problem of this research is the correlation between the age of a teacher with personal competence that include aspects of age, the age level and elements of personal competence. From the formulation of this problem researchers took steps to then analyze and draw conclusions from the correlation between the age of a teacher with personal competence.

The study results were (1) the existence of a correlation between age and personal competence (2) the value of the kindest personal competence is 59-year-old teacher (3) the correlation between the level of teachers aged 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 were the most both owned ages between 50-59, 30-39, and 40-49 (4) has been found that the age group of young teachers do not have a good personality competence. While the older teachers have a good personality competence.
